Vahe graduated from the University of Economy and Law with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.

After graduating from the University, Vahe earned his ACCA (Association of CharteredCertified Accountants) designation, a reputable and global body for professional accountants based in the UK, and currently is a Fellow Member of ACCA.

He also earned his CPA designation in Canada and is a Certified FraudExaminer and a member of ACFE based in Austin, Texas.

Vahe spent over 10 years leading finance functions for multinational organizations, including not-for-profit organizations. In these roles, he provided financial overview and leadership for all major financial and operating activities, including the development of business plans, and compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages. He led and supervised the development of multiple UN agencies' joint budgets, streamlined monthly budget monitoring reports, and successfully implemented financial policies ensuring compliance with UNICEF’s financial circulars.
