The story
There was a time and state of mind of people living in Armenia, when each detail from the culture was a value, more expensive than any golden coin.
A family living in Old Ijevan owned an ancient plate. It was a heritage of this family and it went through generation to generations.
The legend said it was the only plate which a secret plant could be grown. When the time came for passing it to the younger generation, the three children waited for that day so much. None of them knew who would heir the plate.

One of them was so eager to own the plate, so he decided to steal the plate the night before its gifting.
The moment the child came up to the plate standing on the pedestal, it fell and broke into pieces.

The Legend tells that one of this pieces is left in Ijevan and was found in the territory of the nowadays Old Ijevan hotel and its restaurant.
